What Families Are Saying
Based on customer reviews on Amazon

This game is so much fun for the whole family, which is good because my kids wanted to play it all the time. It's cooperative so everyone is playing on the same side and helping to beat the fox (which also means no tears). The game can sort of be graded up or down so there are ways for younger kids to participate but still keep parents and older children engaged. Solving the mystery is enjoyable and kept me entertained. It's a different game every time. The game goes pretty quickly...maybe 15 minutes. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a rare game that can keep kids of different ages and parents entertained.
This is my 5 year old's favorite game. She loves how easy it is and the interactive pieces. It is easy enough she can explain it, but fun enough I enjoy it as an adult (and not just because my kids are playing it). We play this game all the time and it doesn't get old. Rounds aren't too long and you can usually play a few games before the kids want to stop.
This is such a fun game! It teaches a little bit of strategy by needing to balance finding clues and turning over suspects. We do win more often than we lose, but it is nice to have a cooperative game that isn't all boring wins. We liked it so much, we bought one for our niece.
It's no wonder this game has A TON of positive reviews, it's really that AWESOME!! It is like a watered down version of clue except you're working together to solve the problem. My 6 year old granddaughter announced its like "the good guys against the bad guy and we have to win!" The game actually goes by pretty quickly once you learn how it works. The quality is top notch. It's become one of our favorites that even we, the adults, enjoy playing. Definitely worth trying it out!
My kids (ages 6-12) all love to play this together. They get so excited to look at the new clues, and there's real tension when they're deciding what to do next. Plus, it's nice to have a cooperative board game, instead of one where everyone is "versus" each other. Recommended for anyone with kids in the house.
I am a child therapist and I bought this game to play with clients as a way to build rapport. I've played it with kids as young as five and as old as 16 and everyone enjoyed it. It's quick and fun, and as always Gamewright has made a high quality game.
About Outfoxed!
Outfoxed! is a modern children's classic that blends cooperative play with deductive reasoning, designed specifically to introduce young players to the joy of solving a mystery together.
The game was created by Department of Recreation, a design studio known for crafting thoughtful, family-friendly experiences. Their goal with Outfoxed! was clear from the start - take the tension and logic of a traditional whodunnit and translate it into a format that preschoolers can understand, enjoy, and master without pressure or competition.
That vision found its perfect home at Gamewright, a publisher founded in 1994 by parents who believed children deserved games with genuine depth, quality, and replay value. Gamewright's catalogue, now spanning more than 150 titles, is built around play that encourages learning, cooperation, and imagination across generations.
The Game

Recognition
Since its release, Outfoxed! has earned international recognition for both design and educational value, receiving honours such as As d'Or - Jeu de l'Annee Enfant and recommendations from Kinderspiel des Jahres.
